There is nothing that says “Hello” better than some delicious hot and fluffy buttermilk pancakes made at home!
Once you make these deliciously fluffy, fruity pancakes from scratch, you’ll wonder why you didn’t make them that way sooner.
2 cups flour
125 g Mrs Oldbucks Passionfruit Butter
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
a pinch of salt
1 1/4 cup buttermilk
2 tsp vanilla
¼ cup castor sugar
1/4 butter for cooking
Whisk milk, egg and vanilla together in a jug. Sift flour and bicarbonate of soda into a bowl. Stir in sugar. Make a well in centre. Add milk mixture and Mrs Oldbucks Passionfruit Butter . Whisk until just combined.
Using 1/4 cup mixture per pancake, cook 2 pancakes for 3 to 4 minutes or until bubbles appear on surface. Turn and cook for 3 minutes or until cooked through.
Transfer to a plate. Serve with maple syrup and a fresh fruit salad for a tasty for a satisfying breakfast, brunch, or yes, dinner:) Enjoy!
